Temperature Indicating Labels
Monitor temperature changes quickly and accurately
Validate your product has remained in safe storage and transport temperature range. Temperature monitoring labels are used to measure and record excursions should they occur at the shipment, package, or product level. These indicators change or darken in color to indicate a temperature excursion.

High Temperature Indicators
These high temperature indicators are engineered to detect rising temperatures with response points from 25°C to 230°C. These chemical indicators provide a clear, irreversible color change that shows if your product has been exposed to a temperature above specific threshold. These temperature monitoring labels are critical to record excursions should they occur at any point in the supply chain, ensuring that your products remain safe, effective, and compliant.

VarIoT
Track rising temperatures with an irreversible color change at your temperature threshold. Each label is serialized for digital reporting.

Freeze Indicating Labels
Our irreversible low temperature indicator labels are designed to monitor descending temperatures between 15°C and -2°C. With a distinct color change at the designated threshold, you will know if your product has been exposed to a temperature that could affect its efficacy or quality. These indicators can be applied at the product, carton, or pallet level, giving you clear, easy-to-interpret indication if your product has been exposed to cold or freezing temperatures.

FCP
Robust and irreversible chemical temperature indicator to monitor descending temperatures between 15°C and -2°C.

Dual Temperature Monitoring
Our ascending and descending temperature indicators can be combined on a single card to ensure your product remains within a defined temperature range. With high temperature indicators responding between 25°C and 230°C, and low temperature indicators ranging from 15°C to -2°C, you’ll have full visibility of any temperature excursions—whether above or below your acceptable limits. This dual-indicator solution provides clear, irreversible color changes to alert you if your product has been exposed to conditions that could affect its quality, safety, or performance. 1 card. 2 indicators. Total Confidence!

Color Changing Solutions
ATI’s liquid crystal temperature labels use color change to indicate temperatures or temperature ranges. This is an easy-to-read and precise temperature label indicator that can be customized to the shape and size that fits your specific needs. Solutions range from -9°C up to 65°C. Drug testing, medical device, pharmaceutical and industrial companies rely on ATI liquid crystal thermometers when accuracy and reliability matter most.

Stability Budget & Shelf Life
How long can a pharmaceutical product be exposed to temperatures outside the recommended storage conditions? From clinical trials to vaccines, drug and specimen management when handling the delivery of tissue and biologics, the establishment of a stability budget and shelf life knowledge are critical.
ATI manufactures solutions to protect your product when a potential temperature excursion can’t be avoided. Temperature indicating labels allow for continuous temperature monitoring to ensure a clear conclusion to the conditions a product has been exposed to during storage, in transit, and to the last mile.
Easily Identify Excursions
Temperature indicating labels are designed to provide a clear visual indication and continuous monitoring for the temperature range that fits your product profile.
Our ATI temperature labels record a permanent, irreversible, or reversible reading for the reader to quickly understand if a high temperature or low temperature was attained, allowing for easy identification of temperature excursions.
How do temperature indicating labels work?
These one-time use indicators undergo a chemical change when they reach their rated temperature. Typically, once a temperature range is defined, a melting point is set that triggers a chemical reaction to produce a permanent color change. Available as an adhesive strip or as a label, the color of the chemistry provides a clear indication of whether the temperature has fallen below or exceeded a rated threshold as defined. It can also be used to provide proof of an attained temperature range.
Custom Temperature Label Design
With a number of standard solutions, ATI offers custom solutions for all of your temperature monitoring needs.
With manufacturing in Dayton, Ohio, our team will work with you to create a label that allows for branding, configuration, and designs specific to your product and your brand. We know there is not always a one-size-fits-all solution when it comes to your specific temperature range needs, so we are ready to begin your next project together.
Critical applications for Temperature Labels

To the point of care
From manufacturing to the last mile, knowing that your product has been effectively monitored throughout the supply chain is the end-to-end visibility and ease of use that comes from using a temperature indicating label.
